DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

We love being able to work in schools with your teachers and students to teach them about Aboriginal culture with a focus on art. We find that this is a great way to engage students in a fun and interactive activity whilst learning about the rich history of our culture.

Depending on the age of your students and your resources we have multiple art projects to offer. The most popular projects are individual canvas paintings, outdoor murals and class canvas paintings (approx. 1m X 1m), but we can do so much more and are always open to suggestions if there is a project you have in mind.

We understand that Aboriginal history is now a focus in most curriculums and we love to attend schools to help students and teachers learn first hand from an Aboriginal person. Our projects also have educational focuses to them as we teach students about different art styles and techniques, creative writing and story telling. We also have added activities that allow us to tie our project in with your current literacy programs.
